Self Rescue
Self rescue:essential knowledge for any climber
- Evacuating an injured casualty from a crag using a Y hang or equivalent.
- Specialist rescue techniques such as hoist systems, hauling techniques – assisted and unassisted hoists, and escaping the system.
- Ascending and descending a fixed rope e.g. prusiking and passing knots
- Rescuing an injured leader

We can arrange a location to suit you. Anywhere in the UK.
Progression:
Most people progress onto our Ice-climbing course or basic mountaineering course.
Duration:
This is a two day course
This course is run by either an MIA, MIC, Guide, military equivalent or professional climber
Cost: £360 but we can take 4 students
