Meru 4,556m & Kilimanjaro 5,891.8m - Tanzania

The highest mountain in Africa. Kilimanjaro is the most popular trek in Africa. Despite being the most popular trek in Africa we at the Expedition Company feel that Africa has much more to offer as a result we urge you to consider some of Africa's lesser known treks.

Recommended alternatives:

Mt Kenya in neighbouring Kenya
Simien mountains in Ethiopia
The Ruwenzori aka the mountains of the moon in Uganda

We will be acclimatising by climbing Mt. Meru before tackling the Machame route on Kilimanjaro.
